Patient Eligibility and Application Procedures
Good News Clinics provides free medical and dental care to Hall County residents without insurance or access to healthcare.
: Applicant must be a Hall County resident; household income must be at or below 150% of the federal poverty level; cannot have insurance or be eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, or PeachCare. Individuals with Medicare or other insurance and without dental insurance can qualify for services at the dental clinic if income and residence requirements are met.
: Application interviews are Monday-Thursday mornings at 8:30 AM.
Individual must come in person to apply providing necessary documents:
proof of Hall County residency (a bill showing their name and address, etc)
proof of household income (paycheck stub for last four pay periods, unemployment income letter, DFCS letter or certified letter from person providing assistance with living expenses)
a picture ID
After approval of eligibility, usually that day if all information is provided, the individual will receive an appointment for the patient orientation class usually within 2 weeks and at the class the patient receives an appointment for a medical or dental visit.
Patients are seen by appointment
Immediate needs are evaluated by medical/dental staff and appointments are scheduled as available.
Good News Clinics is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM and provides the following services:
Medical Clinic—provides ongoing medical care for our patients, including medications as prescribed by our physicians/providers
Dental Clinic—provides a prevention program, extractions and fillings for our patients
Health Access—specialty referral services for GNC patients
