MEET GREET AND EAT is a new monthly gathering for anyone interested in learning about the mission of Good News Clinics (GNC). Our first gathering was Nov. 13, 2017. Modern Topics Study Club members were our guest. This group enjoyed lunch, toured the clinics and heard our featured speaker, Kathy Carter as she shared her remarkable GNC story.
Kathy and her husband stumbled onto hard times and found themselves without healthcare insurance. Her critically ill husband was referred to GNC. Through the care and treatments of the volunteer specialists provided through GNC, Kathy declares her husband’s life was saved. After the couple got through that difficult time, Kathy now gives back to GNC by volunteering every Wednesday morning as she works with new patients often sharing her story as a means of encouragement.
Each month we will have guest speakers. It’s also a great way to meet new people and learn what else is going on in our Community! Come check us out and join others that have a Heart for Hall County!
