Meet the Board: Dr. Geary Bush

Geary is an immigrant to the area, moving to Gainesville in 2014. He moved from Donalsonville, GA, his hometown to join Longstreet Clinic as a general surgeon. He and his wife are blessed to have four young children that keeps his non-clinical life fun and adventurous.

Dr. Bush has provided surgical services to Good News Clinics’ patients since 2014 and joined our Board Directors in 2016.  He initially began seeing patients as an opportunity to give back to his new community, but later jumped at the chance to serve on our board. He found that GNC is a terrific, well-run organization that is serving as the hands and feet of Jesus to the impoverished in Hall County.

“I feel that it is important for physicians, especially Christian physicians, to intentionally give compassionate care to those who may not be able to pay for the services. Seeing GNC patients is a great way to do that. Serving on the board of a Christian clinic that provides excellent medical care to such a large number of patients is a great honor. I enjoy doing a small part to help ensure that Good News Clinics will endure for future generations.”
